Feb 10-14

Parents,

What a week! Thank you for your time and dedication to help your child succeed in school. Both Mrs. Liston and I enjoyed meeting with each of you. Everyday I am amazed at the hard work and love your children show. Thank you!

This Friday is Valentine’s Day. We will be making a bag in class to hold the valentines the students receive. Attached is a list of names for each class.

*Storytelling Festival Information

Our class will tell stories on Wednesday, Feb. 12th.

The Alpine Elementary Storytelling Festival will be held this month.  Our school will be sending 2 students on to the Alpine School District Storytelling Festival (1 student K - 3rd and 1 student 4th -6th). Our classroom will present stories on Wednesday during their English class. Each story should be no more than 10 minutes long, and does not have to be memorized. However, all stories should be polished and well prepared.  For more information, see http://timpfest.org/stories/how-to-perform-a-story for details.
