Mrs. Liston has asked that I remind all parents to make sure their children are bringing back their homework folders. AM class is orange and the PM is red. She sent home their first assignments yesterday. If your child did not bring it home, they either left it in the cubby or, their folder may be at home.
The assignment is lesson 1 in their Reader and involves both reading and writing. We have gone over the concepts in class, however, if your child doesn't understand the assignment, please don't hesitate to email us.
Yesterday Mrs. Liston introduced the children to "station rotations." I was amazed at how quickly the children understood and followed her directions after only hearing them in chinese. They will be working at these stations 2-3 times each week on activties that they are alread familiar with.
