I’m excited to tell you about a new instagram profile, made just for our class! I will keep it private, so only parents of the students can see it. I will update it with pictures, videos, book recommendations, etc. Please follow us! @AEChineseImmersion

Dear Parents,

 

The Term 2 report card doesn’t include the Chinese language part. We already discussed the student’s Chinese learning skills at the parent/teacher conference. I had mentioned that I will send the Chinese learning report with the Term 3 report card during the parent/teacher conference. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you for your support.       

 

Homework

Math-Chapter 6 two digit addition & subtraction (3 sheets)

Chinese- Reviewing lesson 1-15

Reading- Continue reading 20 minutes daily. Find a fun poem, and memorize it with expression.

 

 In class this week, we are going to learn:

Math- Chapter 8 Measurement and Time

Chinese- Lesson 16 I like sports

Science & Social Study-Motion (push & pull) 

Writing- Informative Writing with 3 details and closure

Language Arts- Verb and Noun Match, homophones and homographs (words that look the same, or words that sound the same)

Reading-  Inferences (Learning things from the text when it doesn’t come right out and say it. aka: reading between the lines)

Phonics- r in charge! Contractions with n’t

Spelling Words: park, yard, party, before, store, isn’t, didn’t, wasn’t can’t, don’t
